Graduate Mental Trainer
Prerequisite for the above additional qualifications is the successful completion and graduation from the mental strength trainer course. For the first time, training as mental strength trainer will be offered in English beginning in 2016.
Mental trainer curriculum
Methodology and Mental Fundamentals – 120 hours total
a) MENTAL TECHNIQUES
Constructive thinking – being in the here and now – emotions – salutogenesis – attention – affirmation self-motivation – awareness – mental focusing – working with the body – visualization with all senses.
Relaxation – the subconscious – inner dialog – intuition – meditation and breathing – Qigong – the brain psycho-neuro immunology – values – life roles – transactional analysis.
Language – body language – meta programs
c) DEVELOPING THE TRAINER’S PERSONALITY
Balancing the inner levels of personality – visioning – goals and life path – modeling excellent trainer capabilities – self-management and self-coaching
d) RECOGNITION AND DEVELOPMENT OF GROUP PROCESSES
Structure and/or content – group interaction and rapport with groups – recognition of group dynamics – basics of process moderation.
e) PRESENTATION CAPABILITIES AND TRAINER SKILLS
Personal congruency – the use of voice, gestures, body and space – the use of humor, provocation, metaphors – dealing with disruptions, objections and questions.
